1. The question I want to answer in my final research paper is "what more can be done to help students with Autism through the transition to college and through their college life?".
2. In my working thesis I will try to prove that there is more that could be done to help these students through college. I believe that there is always a little more someone can do or something that can be done to help someone or to get something done so I believe there is more that should be done to help students with this disability through college.
3.What I do know is that while these particular students have help through college such as accommodations they still are required to rely on themselves for many things like meeting new people, making friends, and also just knowing what it is that they will need to make it through college which may be a variety of things. I think this requires an aid for the students and I do not like the thought of them having little or no help for the important things like this. Maybe there could be an assembly or program that helps these students or some sort of a club that volunteer students from the college could help the autistic students with meeting people, befriending them themselves and helping them with what they need during college.
4. What I still need to find information on is what exactly these students are limited on and/or not receiving that they should be accommodated for. Maybe I can find something about how to spread the word about students with Autism going into college and getting help, more help than they already do.
5. I have not found any arguments which oppose my question.
6. I have found information from several sources including multiple web sites. I still need to look into more books, journal articles, or some other source.
